Description
Description: the Oriental Music cue begins as the producer imitates "the beat of the kettledrum" by tapping his fingers on the table and saying "rum-tiddly-um-pum"; the tempo he establishes is the same one used by Steiner in the dance number that follows seamlessly; we see timpani playing, a gong is played, then a double-reed instrument plays an exotic solo over rhythmic strings and percussion; at 43:22 we see the conductor, and it is Max Steiner [!] - he takes a message from the producer; at [44:26] we see him again, cutting off the orchestra; this composition is also by Steiner
