Description
Description: the leading lady sings "Hey Mr. Carpenter" on-stage with piano accompaniment (source music); at 45:47, a violin joins in with a countermelody; soon other instruments join in: clarinet, trumpet, trombone, banjo, etc. in a Dixieland style; at [46:30] we see Steiner again, confused as to what is happening on stage - the musicians are playing spontaneously without help from him; at [47:02] Steiner starts to get into the groove and begins conducting along, shrugging his shoulders as if to say "why not?"; the music gets wilder as we Steiner at 47:30, conducting more enthusiastically; later, we see the back of his head as the orchestra stands to play
