Description
Description: the suitor asks the serenading musicians to "play something" as they get in the boat and go for a ride; somehow, the music that they play on-screen (a Spanish-tinged romantic tune for guitars called "The Blue Lagoon," by Steiner) follows them on their boat ride and can be heard clearly above the noise of the motor; the music acts as romantic backdrop for the two lovers on-screen; then (at 33:05), the camera shifts to a woman who is watching the lovers from her window (the wife of the man wooing the younger leading lady on-screen); presumably some time has lapsed, but the guitar serenade continues without interruption
